{"id":4188,"date":"2020-06-19T16:18:15","date_gmt":"2020-06-19T16:18:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tdgcompany.com\/large-3d-measuring-machine-now-operational-at-tdg\/"},"modified":"2024-08-02T13:07:25","modified_gmt":"2024-08-02T13:07:25","slug":"large-3d-measuring-machine-already-operational-at-tdg","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tdgcompany.com\/en\/large-3d-measuring-machine-already-operational-at-tdg\/","title":{"rendered":"Large 3D measuring machine, already operational at TDG"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Since last February, the new <strong>Hexagon<\/strong> gantry machine for three-dimensional measurement has been in operation at TDG.<\/p>\n<p>It is a large gantry machine, perfect for TDG&#8217;s product portfolio, which will allow to achieve better precision values and improve product quality, in line with the requirements of such high-demand sectors as aeronautics, wind power and railways.<\/p>\n<p>In particular, the <strong>Hexagon Alpha 2.0<\/strong> is prepared for measurement of workpiece dimensions up to 2.5 x 3.3 meters, perfect for TDG&#8217;s usual type of clamping solution, and with accuracies up to E0<sub>,MPE <\/sub>= 5.7 + 4.2 L\/1000 mm (L in mm) in each axis.<\/p>\n<p>In parallel to the commissioning of the three-dimensional machine, TDG&#8217;s staff has been trained through several days of training by Hexagon itself, to then begin to implement this new technology as part of its production process of high-performance projects and high added value.<\/p>\n<p>The three-dimensional machine, in addition to internal use as part of TDG&#8217;s quality assurance system, will be available for external subcontractors, and in particular for TDG&#8217;s network of customers and partners.<\/p>\n<p>With this investment, TDG takes another step forward and continues with its strategic plan for 2009-2021, in which it expects to grow by at least 15%, especially in projects of high technical value.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Since last February, the new Hexagon gantry machine for three-dimensional measurement has been in operation at TDG.
