TDG has been recognised as a Green Company by the Provincial Council of Bizkaia.
Under the title “Promoting the ecological transition as the driving force of the new economic growth model in Bizkaia”, the development agencies that are part of the Bizkaia Orekan Sakoduz network, promoted by the Bizkaia Provincial Council and in collaboration with Aclima, the Basque environmental cluster, held a conference to reflect on the role of small and medium-sized enterprises in the ecological transition of the territory.
The event, which brought together more than 90 people, including technical staff, business managers, representatives of the various regional development agencies and public representatives, focused on the need to provide SMEs in Bizkaia with tailored support in the transition to new paradigms derived from sustainability and ecological transition.
As part of the Enpresa Berdea programme, the day began with a brief introduction by Arrate Robertson, a business technician from Meatzaldeko Behargintza, who, after explaining the context of the Berdea Bonds, a programme of support, training and advice on the ecological transition, gave way to Olga Martín, General Manager of Aclima, who gave a keynote speech on the European Green Pact, its context and the opportunities it offers for the competitiveness of SMEs in the Basque Country.
Finally, Cristina Mugica, Director General of Territorial Competitiveness and Foreign Promotion of the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, awarded 21 recognitions to companies for their involvement and commitment during these months in the development of the programme and the definition of strategies to promote transformations that will lead to more sustainable and therefore more competitive business models.
The recognised companies have been: Microdeco Berria, OSATU, Belgicast, EFECKTA, HYDROGEN ONSITE, TRAMEINSA, Revenant Industrial & Ports Machinery, Cantera Lacilla, Kelvion Thermal Solutions, Walter Pack, EBAKI, TDG Clamping Solutions, Bahía de Bizkaia Gas, GOSAN, Naulon Cargo, Pescados Llorente, KIDE, Conservas Olasagasti, Idertia Soluciones Industrialres, Bolsas Castresana and Transportes Egoitz Urrutia.
