VTL self-centering units for vertical lathes

This chuck is especially designed to facilitate the chips and dirt evacuation by assembling extra long base jaws to cover the whole length of the guide and which are hidden underneath the surface of the body of the chuck to increase the rigidity as well. Besides, the chuck has a central cover to finish up its sealing.

  • Direct mounting or adaptor plate needed depending on the geometry of the spindle nose of the machine.
  • Induction hardening in sliding areas on Ø630-180
  • Other bigger dimensions upon request

  • Chemical hardening in friction areas from Ø500 mm upwards
