TDG showcased its latest developments at the prestigious German AMB exhibition in Stuttgart.
AMB is the main meeting point for the central European market of the machine tool sector and is one of TDG‘s regular fairs.
Despite coinciding with IMTS in Chicago, the show was well attended, particularly by customers from the Central European region.
At the TDG stand, visitors could see a prototype of a self-centering hybrid magnetic chuck and a smart chuck jaw model, among other examples of products and applications.
These products and many more were available not only at the TDG stand, but also at the stands of machine manufacturers such as Ibarmia, Geminis or MTE.
In addition to the opportunity to meet some of the most important distributors in Europe and to receive many customers, both existing and potential, TDG took advantage of the event to announce a collaboration agreement with the German company SAV GmbH (Inicio – SAV – potencia. gente. pasión.), a prestigious company specialized in magnetic clamping, with which TDG will collaborate over the next few years to launch a common product, the self-centering magnetic hybrid plate.
For TDG, this agreement represents the opportunity, not only to offer its customers a new technical solution that it did not have until now, but also to access a new market in grinding applications.
Finally, TDG has unveiled its new slogan: “Think Big Clamp Better“.
This new slogan is intended to reflect not only our position in the market, with a clear focus on large and heavy parts, but also our passion for the special projects that our customers propose to us.
In summary, the AMB show was a success in terms of image and commercial contacts, which we hope will translate into important orders in the coming weeks.
