As part of the growth plan for the year 2024, we have closed with Intermaher, a company with which we have been collaborating for years as a customer and supplier, the supply of a state-of-the-art Mazak VORTEX i.630V/6machine, which is scheduled to be commissioned in the first quarter of 2023.
This is a 5-axis, vertical machining center with capacity for parts up to 1 meter, where we plan to manufacture both critical components and small/medium size chucks.
This investment will mean for TDG a great growth in production capacity, which together with the market expansion process in which we are currently immersed, will allow us to grow to turnover volumes of more than 6 million euros.
The VORTEX i-630V/6 will be equipped with a Palletech pallet changer system, with 10 automatic pallets, allowing it to work in unattended machine mode and a large tool magazine.
This is the most powerful investment we have made in TDG since 2008, when we invested in large milling and grinding machines, which now allow us to be one of the world’s leading manufacturers of heavy-duty clamping solutions. With this new machine, we expect to grow in volume, but also to improve delivery times and service, as well as to achieve more cost-competitive products.
With this investment, which exceeds one million euros, TDG closes the investment chapter in 2022, but we do not rule out other investments starting next year.
