The first week of June, took place the BIEMH Bilbao, the biennial, the largest and most important fair in Spain of the machine tool, and one of the most important in Europe.
This edition of the fair has been one of the most successful in recent years, an unmissable event for the industrial sector, with more than 38,000 visitors and more than 1,500 exhibitors, numbers significantly higher than previous editions.
TDG’s booth, located in Hall 1, was one of the epicenters of visitor interest, with hundreds of visitors from the first day until practically the last minute of Friday.
Taking advantage of the celebration of the BIEMH Bilbao fair, during the first week of June, took place at the TDG stand the first presentation of the TDG awards to our main collaborators of 2.023.
Gathered with more than 70 guests, TDG wanted to pay tribute to those companies that had stood out throughout the year 2.023.
In this way, the Catalan company Suhec was awarded the TDG prize for best distributor, Kitagawa Europeafter more than 15 years of collaboration with us, was awarded the prize for best supplier, and the American company Pratt Burned America as best customer, not only for its exceptional business figures, but also for a great human relationship.
Finally, the occasion was used to pay tribute to Franco Piantoni, who, after more than 20 years as TDG agent for the Italian market, has decided to hang up his boots and retire.
With this award, TDG wanted to thank him for the service provided and the relationship of friendship maintained during all these years. Finally, a relaxed cocktail was held between customers, suppliers, external collaborators and TDG staff, during which we could enjoy the local gastronomy and a good number of anecdotes and conversations.
The TDG Awards will be back in the next edition of the BIEMH, in 2.026.
